BARTLESVILLE, OKLA. ? Haskell Indian Nations University’s women’s basketball team defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan, 57-56, on Friday.

Lois Stevens scored 16 points, Sharon Forte 15 and Sherelle Begay 10 for Haskell.

“One of the keys to the game is we forced them into 25 turnovers and we had 15 steals,” coach Phil Homeratha said. “That came up big in the final score. It was a good win on the road for us.”

Haskell (11-11) will meet Southwest Christian University today.
