Unsung heroes
To the editor:
Recently, we were fortunate enough to be able to participate in a ride-along with the Lawrence police department. The officers were impressively well trained, efficient, energetic and dedicated. These professional men and women put themselves in harm’s way on a daily basis and are the unsung heroes of our community. There is no question that this is a difficult job and we would like to thank them for their service.
