Balanced Veritas basketball wins
Shawnee ? Nine players scored for the Veritas Christian girls basketball as the Eagles defeated Midland Adventist, 42-24, on Monday night.
“I liked how we were sharing the ball tonight,” Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said.
Ellen Phillips led the Eagles with 10 points and seven rebounds. Shareen Fattaahi, Madison Bennett and Sarah McDermott added six points apiece.
Veritas (9-8) will play Topeka Cair Paravel on Saturday at Eudora.
