A 45-year-old Edgerton man was booked into Douglas County Jail early Saturday morning on seven sex crime charges, including two counts of rape of a child, three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior.

The arrest occurred in the 700 block of Nelson Street in Edgerton, according to the Douglas County Jail booking log. The man is currently being held at the jail, and his bond is set at $150,000.
