Landlord sues Wichita doctor to block abortions
Wichita ? A landlord has sued to keep a Wichita doctor from performing abortions at the space she leases in an office complex.
Foliage Development is seeking a temporary restraining order to keep Dr. Mila Means from doing abortions at its Harry Street Office Park. It argues her plan to offer abortions later this year has already prompted protests at the building.
The Wichita Eagle reported Thursday the lawsuit contends three tenants have announced plans to leave the building if protests continue.
A hearing on the request for a temporary injunction has been scheduled for Feb. 15.
Means’ office had no immediate comment when contacted Thursday by The Associated Press.
