And that right there is what is wrong with society! Not that I condone the 'boyfriend' being involved in the dicipline at all!

ya the boy, he should still be in jail however he is not. The mother got the children back and now has given up custody of the oldest child to the grandmother and because the grandmother made comments at the mothers sentenceing of her choosing the boyfriend over the oldest child. The daughter and the other grandson says that the grandmother is a lyer and neither wants to have anything to do with the grandmother/mother. The boyfriend is no good, but forgiving is what the family will do in order to move on, so that him or the mother does not have control of the rest of their lives.

When someone beats their dog, Animal Control removes the animal.

Yet, in this situation the Court includes mom's stellar boyfriend in the "family" therapy and the boys still have to deal with him. That sure sends out one heck of a message to the abused.

I don't take that to mean that he has to participate in family therapy sessions, but that he is allowed to. I would presume the therapist and the boys themselves have some input into whether his being involved in a session would be useful.

The oldes boy is doing very well, he is living with the grandmother tell he is old enough to move out and on his own, he will never live with the mother no will he ever see the one that beat him as long as he is with the grandmother. However the youngest boy wants the abuser back in his life, but he was not beaten and as abused as much as the oldest boy, but either way we wish he would never see the boyfriend again and also the mother of the boys wants the boyfriend back and in order to see the boyfriend the had to get reid of the oldest boy because he would tell if they were seeing the boyfriend even thou that are not suppose to.

YES, she is a GREAT person, and beautiful inside and out, however she is torn and strugling finacially and with her feelings. She has been through a lot and her Mother and family LOVES her more than anything in this world. Please don't judge her that is GOD's job!!!!!!!!!!! She has a lot of work to do to get herself and life back on track. She is a strong person and she will figure this mess out with the help that she is getting, everone needs a little help and understanding and more people should ask for it before something like this happens, and it was bad however there has been worse things in the old rough world and this family will someday be OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are both probably home right now, exercising their "right" to make more children.

I don't condone violence, but all bad- faith judges like Peggy Kittel have to teach the general public is that honor among thieves is the norm in Douglas County. Scoundrels and haters rule in this town.

uh LJW, the article doesn't match the headline at this time!

however, I am familiar with the story the headline should lead to ! I think the probation is far too soft on her.
