From the Lawrence Daily Journal-World for Dec. 30, 1986:
Police were searching for a man who had robbed the FIRSTBANK branch in Lawrence on the previous Monday. Bank cameras had captured the image of a man who had entered the bank shortly after its 9 a.m. opening, had held a small automatic pistol on two tellers, and then had gone behind the counter to take an undetermined amount of money. No one was injured during the two-minute robbery, police said. The robbery was the fourth for the southwest Lawrence bank branch.
