Austin, Texas Chassidy Fussell scored 19 points and No. 22 Texas opened the game with 19 unanswered points Tuesday night en route to a 91-38 victory over Grambling State.
The Longhorns (9-2) held the Tigers without a field goal until the 14:24 mark of the first half and finished with their largest margin of victory this season.
Fussell converted 3 of 7 3-pointers and the team made a season-high nine from behind the arc. Ashleigh Fontenette added 14 points and 10 assists for Texas. Ashley Gayle and Chelsea Bass each had 11 points, and Cokie Reed scored 10.
Savannah Carter scored 12 points and Markisha Patterson added seven for Grambling State (4-5).
The Longhorns caused 15 turnovers.
