Search continues for missing college student Aisha Khan

? Police in northeastern Kansas are continuing to follow up on tips as they search for a missing 19-year-old student.

A flier posted on a Facebook page dedicated to finding Aisha Khan, a 19-year-old Johnson County Community College student who disappeared from the Kansas University Edwards Campus.

Aisha Khan studies at Johnson County Community College. She called her sister Friday from the nearby University of Kansas’ Edwards Campus saying she was running from a drunken stranger who harassed her while she studied outdoors.

Overland Park police are handling the disappearance as an abduction.

Police spokeswoman Michelle Koos says investigators are continuing to interview friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers, students and college staff members. Authorities also are searching for clues in social media and reviewing telephone records.

Overland Park police have devoted more than 400 hours to the investigation. They are working with the FBI and police in the nearby city of Olathe, where Khan had lived.
