2 brothers found fatally wounded

? Police say two brothers were fatally wounded outside a Leavenworth barbershop and found more than a mile away in a car that had crashed near a local park.

The victims in the shooting, which was reported around 6 p.m. Friday outside First City Barbershop, were identified as 25-year-old Derrick Jones and 28-year-old Marshall Jones of Leavenworth.

Derrick Jones died at the park, while his brother was taken away by air ambulance and pronounced dead at the University of Kansas Hospital.

Police Chief Pat Kitchens told KCTV a third man found in the car might have been trying to get the brothers to a hospital when he crashed the vehicle.

The driver was interviewed at the scene, and it appears the brothers were the only ones injured in the shooting.
