“Kansas Jobs First” will include 14 priorities aimed at creating jobs, providing work training and stopping unscrupulous hiring practices.

The first one will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Old Supreme Courtroom in the Statehouse. The second one will be at 2 p.m. at the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local No. 441 Apprentice Training Center in Wichita.

Republican's jobs plans are to slash the pay of those at the lowest end of the pay scale while importing highly paid administrators who leave as soon as the weather changes. Democrat's job plans are to create a department of redundancy department hiring the unemployed to repeat the jobs done by the already employed. I'd opine as to which plan I like best, but I gotta go to work.

Well its about time. There are a lot of unscrupulous hiring practices that have been ignored way too long preventing people from getting a job. For one passing over the older population who have mega experience to hire a younger inexperienced person. Too many petty issues get in the way that prevent giving someone a chance to prove their worth on the job. I've for it and I'm proud to be a Democrat.

I will be interested in hearing a Democrat's idea of 'unscrupulous'. I hope they don't let me down as I need a good laugh.
