Franklin County Attorney Heather Jones said Thursday afternoon she had filed charges against two men who were arrested and accused of robbing a Dollar General store at knifepoint Tuesday evening in Ottawa.

Ottawa police said Wednesday night they arrested Kyle White, 18, and Christian Ream, 20, both of Ottawa. Police had asked for the public’s help in finding suspects Wednesday. The two men are alleged to have entered the store at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday brandishing cutting instruments and demanding the contents of the cash register, and two female employees, ages 46 and 35, received minor injuries during the robbery.

Jones said the two men are expected to appear in court on the charges sometime today.
