Lawrence police officers were searching Thursday night for a man alleged to have robbed The Buckle, a clothing store located at 805 Mass. St. Police responded to a call at 6:25 p.m. that a white male had used a knife while stealing a purse from the store. A police dispatcher said the suspect is in his 20s, wore a black coat and blue jeans, and drove off in an older model blue hatchback.
