The Lawrence Police Department is investigating a stabbing that reportedly took place Wednesday night in an apartment on the 1000 block of Mississippi Street. A male victim with a stab wound drove himself to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where police were notified.

A police sergeant said the wounds were not believed to be life-threatening. The stabbing was reported at 9:52 p.m.
