Olathe Veritas’ Kristen Finger and Ellen Phillips dominated the interior as the Eagles defeated Kansas School for the Deaf, 58-30, in high school basketball Tuesday.
Finger scored 18 points and collected 10 rebounds, while Phillips finished with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Veritas (2-2) will play its first league match of the season on Saturday when the Eagles play host to Topkea’s Cair Paravel in Eudora.
