Wichita ? The Kansas Livestock Association wraps up its annual convention discussing research on the environmental impact of livestock production systems.

Jude Capper, an animal scientist at Washington State University, on Friday will present findings on the carbon footprint of livestock production. The event is being billed as a session to provide positive messages for cattle producers to share about modern production practices.

The day also includes talks by National Cattlemen’s Beef Association president Bill Donald on the state of the beef industry, and an address by KLA president Ken Grecian.
