Members of Cub Scout Pack 3064 visited the Lawrence Water Treatment Plant on Aug. 6. Mike Freisberg, a father of one of the Scouts, provided a tour of the plant and explained how Lawrence gets its water, how it is treated and how much water the city uses.

Cubs attending were Garrett Shoemaker, Caleb Lord, Brett Freisberg, Nate Criqui, Braden Hayes and Christopher Frank, with den leaders Jay Criqui, Jim Lord, Mike Freisberg and Christen Coble. Family members accompanying were Lynn Shoemaker, Justin Shoemaker, Molly Freisberg, Evie Hayes and Kurt Randal.

Pack 3064 is chartered to the Eudora United Methodist Church and meets at Eudora West School on Winchester Road. Boys interested in joining may call John Scott at (785) 542-3510.
