— U.S. Interstate 70 in western Kansas was closed Friday morning after a storm battered the area with snow and high winds.

The Transportation Department says the highway reopened in both directions about noon. It had been closed from Hays to the Colorado border earlier Friday because of hazardous driving conditions.

Up to five inches of snow had fallen in that area and 50 mile-per-hour winds were reported.

There were no reports of major damage or injuries from the storm.

Yeah, because weather and climate are the same thing.

Go back to school.

Global warming means more moisture evaporates into the atmosphere, hence, more precipitation. Precipitation, whether it be snow or rain is right in line with the climate change theory. Just because the temperature of earth is warming, doesn't mean we loose all snow.

I'm surprised no one has blamed Brownback, Obama, Koch brothers, the Russians, etc.

Here's my theory...they seed the clouds (or do something) to bring all pollutants down from the air so the satellites stay in working order to keep you and me online.
