PEABODY ? Two people have been killed when a car sideswiped a tractor-trailer in Marion County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victims as 37-year-old Markus L. Ivy and 32-year-old Sarah M. Esgro, both of Wichita.

The crash happened Friday night when the Saturn vehicle in which the victims were riding crossed the center line on U.S. 50 in Marion County. A third passenger in the Saturn was taken to a Wichita hospital. The tractor-trailer’s driver wasn’t injured.
