25 years ago: Sentence handed down in Emporia case

In Emporia, Lorna Anderson Eldridge was sentenced to up to 18 years in prison for criminal solicitation to commit first-degree murder in the case of her husband’s death. “We were terribly disappointed,” said her father. “I was hoping the judge would show a little mercy.”
