University Bridge Club announces results of its Sept. 18 meeting with hosts Ray and Myrna Ikenberry.

Blue winners were Paul Jordan, first; Bonnie Haney, second; Alice Akin, third; Tom Waller, fourth; and Mary Gaumer, fifth.

Pink winners were Jane Golden, first; Wanda Kring, second; Dottie Miller, third; Florence McNicoll, fourth; and Florine Creek, fifth.

Over the Rainbow Doll Club met Sept. 16 at the Lawrence Public Library. Members and guests enjoyed the special guest speaker, Patti Joyce, who cleans and repairs dolls for the Kansas City Miniature Museum. She gave a program on the care and repair of dolls made from a variety of materials. Joyce also demonstrated how to clean and style human hair and synthetic doll wigs. Lou Anne Burgess won the door prize, a gift certificate toward doll repair by Joyce. For the October meeting, members are to make a costume representing a movie character for their club doll.
