A 27-year-old Lawrence man reportedly was the victim of aggravated battery early Sunday morning in the 1500 block of West 22nd Terrace.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Bronson Star, the man was at a house when someone knocked on the door. He answered the door and a man struck him with a shiny object, possibly a knife. The attacker then fled on foot. The victim was treated at the scene for abrasions, and there is no suspect in the case.
