University Bridge Club announces results of its Sept. 4 meeting with hosts Bebe Huxtable, Ruth Harwood, Carol Smith and Lisa Smith.

Blue winners were Ray Ikenberry, first; Walt Hicks, second; Harold Riehm, third; Steven Bogler, fourth; and Lisa Smith, fifth.

Pink winners were Hazel Stellmacher, first; Myrna Ikenberry, second; Willi Stark, third; Ruth Harwood and Carol Smith (co-winners), fourth; and Jane Golden, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club‘s game on Sept. 1 was directed by Chris Lane. North-South winners were Elizabeth Jankord and partner, first in A; Kent McCullough and John Fittell, second in A; Lois Clark and Shirley Reese, third in A and first in B; Dianne Childs and Judy Hildreth, fourth in A; Grant Sutton and Catherine Blumenfeld, fifth in A and second in B; Jan O’Connor and Bobby Patton, third in B and first in C; and Margrete Hartman and Albert Ballard, second in C.

The Thursday Morning Mentor Duplicate Bridge Club‘s game on Sept. 2 was directed by Lester Dalton. Winners were Barbara McCorkle and Virginia Seaver, first; Jean Khatib and Lester Dalton, second; Ann Thompson and Al Ballard, third; and Debbie Bettinger and Nita Scales, fourth.

The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club‘s game on Sept. 3 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Steven Vossler and Larry Weatherholt, first in A; Virginia Eddy and Charles Hedges, second in A and first in B; Jan O’Connor and Carol Ball, third in A, second in B, and first in C; and Virginia Seaver and Sally Taylor, fourth in A.

The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club‘s game of Sept. 6 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver.
