Dole Institute, KU ROTC to host ‘A Tribute to Veterans: USO Style’
Kansas University’s Dole Institute of Politics and its ROTC unit will host a salute to veterans, followed by music and dancing next month.
Veterans and their families and friends are invited to the recognition program, which begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 14, followed by music and dancing to the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra until 8 p.m. at the Dole Institute.
Reservations are required for the event, “A Tribute to Veterans: USO Style.” People interested in attending should call 864-4900 or e-mail doleinstitute@ku.edu by Nov. 8.
The event featuring World War II era music is free, and light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
