University Bridge Club announces results of its Oct. 16 meeting with hosts Rhetta Jo Noever and Bonnie Haney.
Blue winners were George Bocquin, first; Marc Kuepker, second; Alice Akin, third; Steven Bogler, fourth; and Paul Jordan, fifth.
Pink winners were Hazel Stellmacher, first; Carol Smith, second; Lois Liebert, third; Jane Golden, fourth; and Donna Riehm, fifth.

Over the Rainbow Doll Club met Oct. 14 at the home of LouAnne Burgess. Members dressed their club dolls in a costume that represented a movie character. The winning outfits were The Mad Hatter by Janet Lukehart; Violet Beauregarde from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” by Gail Brewster; and Mary Poppins by LouAnne Burgess. Suzanne McGinn won a prize for identifying the most characters and their movies. Members discussed plans for their December Christmas Party. A committee was selected to complete the planning for the January Girl Scout activity; Val Fittel will chair the committee.

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Oct. 13 was directed by Chris Lane. North-South winners were Vince Nordberg and Steven Vossler, first in A; Catherine Blumenfeld and Grant Sutton, second in A and first in B; Mary Fenlon and Janice Hollowell, third in A; Judy Hildareth and Elizabeth Jankord, fourth in A; and Mark Osborn and Bobby Patton, second in B.
East-West winners were Klee Zaricky and John Oxley, first in A; Shari Krentzel and Judy Bevan, second in A and first in B; Paul Heitzman and David Piro, third in A; and Mona Bell and Carol Ball, fourth in A and second in B.
