An article described the recent roles of several former Kansas University students who had gone into the acting profession. Richard Kelton, who had graduated in 1966 and had received an M.A. in 1968, was appearing in an episode of “Gunsmoke” and in the TV movie “Wild Women.” James P. McMullen had graduated in architecture in 1961, but two years later he had a seven-year exclusive contract with Universal Studios. He had appeared as one of Jimmy Stewart’s sons in the film “Shenandoah” and in “Downhill Racer” with Robert Redford, as well as in the television programs “Wagon Train,” “Laramie,” and “The Virginian.” Moses Gunn, who had attended graduate school at KU from 1959 to 1961, had starred in the American Shakespeare Festival production of “Othello.” Joanna Featherstone, after receiving her degree from KU in 1960, started working as an actress in New York, where she was now appearing in a one-woman variety show.
