Members of Boy Scout Troop 64 of Eudora attended the Coronado Council Scouting Centennial Celebration. The event was Oct. 8-10 at Oakdale and Kenwood Parks in Salina with about 2,000 Scouts and Scouters participating in activities all day Saturday and early Sunday. Scouts attending were Simon Elwell, Andrew Rome, Tom Stanley, Andrew Briery, Dylan Hopson and Dakota Coble, with adults Glenn Jackson, Brian Rome, Jim Briery, Kurt Hopson, John Scott and Rodney Coble. Amye Scott and Roy Wimmer also visited the camporee on Saturday. Troop 64, part of the Heart of America Council, is sponsored by the Eudora Lions Club. They meet Monday evenings at the West Community Center on Winchester Road.

Members of Cub Scout Pack 3064 of Eudora participated in the annual Pelathe District Fall Cub Scout Family campout Oct. 8-9 at Camp Bromelsick, west of Lawrence. Tiger Cubs Braden Hayes, Ender Isenburg and Steven Young were accompanied by den leaders and parents Christen Coble, Amy Isenburg, Carl Isenburg, David Hayes and Dustin Young. Wolf Cub Scouts Nathaniel Criqui, Brett Freisberg, Logan Labelle, Ben Thorne and Ryan Wampler also participated, along with their leader Jay Criqui and parents Donna Labelle, Mike Freisberg and Stephanie Thorne. The den was also accompanied by Boy Scout Austin Wampler.

Pack 3064, chartered to the Eudora United Methodist Church, meets at West Community Center on Winchester Road in Eudora.
