Blog: Democratic group pulls focus from Moore campaign

October 15, 2010

A Washington, D.C., political blog reported that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee had reduced ad buys in several House races, including Stephene Moore's campaign in the 3rd U.S. House district which includes east Lawrence.

Moore faces state Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-Overland Park, in the Nov. 2 election.

Hotline On Call said the ad buy movements show the DCCC's final TV strategy.

"The DCCC is taking money and investing it in races where it believes it has a better shot of winning in November," the report said.

Trevor Willett, a spokesman for the Moore campaign, said he was unaware of the DCCC's efforts, and noted the campaign cannot coordinate with third-party efforts.

"Our focus is on our race," he said. "We are happy where we are," he said.

Have there been any polls released on this race?

538 forecasts Yoder %55 & Moore %42,5..

There has not been a poll that has been released publicly. 538 does not appear to be a poll - but a projection. The ratio for Yoder and Moore is probably pretty close, but it doesn't consider Jasmin Talbert's candidacy. Talbert has been involved in most of the high profile forums and has received good media coverage in the KC area and from KLWN. She was also the only candidate to show up (on time at least) to the forum held in Lawrence on Wed night.

"It's not a family business" Where was this sentiment in 2000 and 2004?

---translation: we're tossing her overboard to cut down on dead weight while we try to plug the leaks in the Titanic!"

America rejects Obamanomics. massive government spending, overreach, and chicago thug politics.
Obamanomics: tax our way to more jobs; spend our way into prosperity; and borrow our way out of debt.

Americans know this is wrong, and are voting out Obama for Amerika. it is clear Stephie Moore will simply rubberstamp Obama/Pelosi policies, and follow in Denny's despicable footsteps, taxation against representation.

Stephie Moore is now just a sad clown version of a congressional candidate. she really looks like a "deer caught in the headlights" when answering a question on how the federal government will supposedly lose/pay more money if Obama's health insurance debacle were repealed.
and, her running this time brings such shame to Denny, who claimed he skipped meetings because of threats but is willing to send out his obviously unprepared wife? he retired to spend more time (Moore time?) with his "family?" so apparently Stephie isn't part of that "family."

as the old magazine column used to ask: "can this marriage be saved?"
and what kind of schmuck is Denny Moore, really?

please retire Stephie so she can go have a quiet safe time in her life, and do no harm to our country.

SouthWestKs - many years I would agree. However Talbert is a much stronger candidate than we have had in the past and the 3rd is by far our strongest district. She will pull at least twice that percentage - minimum. All conjecture right now - check back on 11/2.
