Elwood ? The brotherly combination of Nate and Ethan Scott was too much for Elwood to handle Friday night.

The Veritas Christian duo combined for nine touchdowns, and the Eagles hammered Elwood, 72-22, in high school football.

“They’re very talented athletes,” Veritas coach Doug Bennett said. “They have great speed and quickness. I’d like to say I teach them all the moves they do on the field. But they’re a real joy to watch.”

Nate Scott carried 12 times for 142 yards, to go along with three catches for 48 yards and five total touchdowns.

Ethan Scott had 15 rushes for 174 yards, to go along with five receptions for 113 yards and four total touchdowns.

Veritas (5-0) will travel to Topeka Cair Paravel on Friday.
