Shawnee ? Police in suburban Kansas City have arrested a man after a four-hour standoff.

Police were called to an apartment complex in Shawnee on Saturday morning to investigate a disturbance. Police evacuated the complex after learning that the man had threatened to blow up the apartment building.

Police coaxed him out of the building at about 2:30 and arrested him. Olathe bomb squad members then searched the man’s apartment and found he did not have a bomb.
