Don't I remember Rep. Dennis Moore declining to seek another term due to threats and hardships that were affecting his family adversely? So how is it that his wife is now in the fray? I was quite surprised at this turn of events when she entered the contest. He'll probably get a pay-off political job in D.C. (though he identified as a blue-dog Dem.) and she hopes for a seat in Congress.

Only in Lawrence would they let the libertarian candidate at the debate. Got to love this town.

Dennis left saying he wanted to spend more time with family ...... the "family" he is wanting to spend more time with is his grandchildren. Which are from his children with his first wife not Stephene or his second wife Trish.
