HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to speak at Kansas State University

? U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius heads to Kansas State University on Monday to deliver the first Landon Lecture of the school year.

The lecture series is named for the late Kansas Gov. Alf Landon and brings speakers of national and international stature to the Manhattan campus each year.

Sebelius served two terms as Kansas’ elected insurance commissioner before winning the governor’s race in 2002. She was midway through her second term when President Barack Obama appointed her to head the Department of Health and Human Services.
