Attorney wants evidence tossed in Wichita double murder

? An attorney is asking a judge to throw out evidence gathered against an 18-year-old suspect in the deaths of a Wichita couple last Thanksgiving Day.

Attorney Sal Intagliata says authorities improperly arrested Sam Holton and illegally searched his parents’ home in Mulvane after the shooting deaths of Jessie Foust and Adrian Jackson at the couple’s Wichita home. Their two young children were found unharmed.

The Wichita Eagle reports that prosecutor Marc Bennett contended that police did not arrest Holton until after he had implicated himself in the killings.

Sedgwick County District Judge David Kaufman on Tuesday took the case under advisement. Holton’s trial is scheduled to begin early next month.
