Five Lawrence students sing in Ottawa University choir that will perform at Carnegie Hall

Five Ottawa University students from Lawrence will sing in Carnegie Hall in January.

They are part of the university’s concert choir, which will perform in the New York City venue along with four other groups.

They will sing as part of the program, Concert for Peace — Celebrating the Spirit of Martin Luther King Jr.

The Lawrence students include Katherine Cottrell, a sophomore; Evan Georgie, a freshman; Olivia Johnson, a freshman; Brandon Kissinger, a freshman; and Shelby Winfrey, a freshman.
