No. 18 Texas A&M 9, No. 9 Nebraska 6

College Station, Texas — Cyrus Gray ran for a career-high-tying 137 yards, and Randy Bullock kicked the go-ahead field goal with about three minutes left.

Gray added a career-high 65 yards receiving in his fifth consecutive 100-yard rushing game.

The win was Texas A&M’s fifth straight and kept Nebraska (9-2, 5-2 Big 12) from clinching the Big 12 North title.

The Cornhuskers will have another chance to do it in their regular-season finale next week against Colorado.

The game was tied at 6 when the Aggies (8-3, 5-2) took the lead on Bullock’s 19-yard field goal. The drive was kept alive by a roughing-the-passer penalty on Nebraska on third-and-11 at the Cornhuskers’ 49.

Taylor Martinez missed the last five minutes of the first quarter and the entire second quarter after injuring his right ankle.

He returned for the third quarter and played the rest of the game despite looking hobbled.

No. 15 Missouri 14, Iowa State 0

Ames, Iowa — Blaine Gabbert threw a touchdown pass, and Missouri turned a fake punt into another score.

On a chilly night in the heartland, Missouri (9-2, 5-2 Big 12) sputtered offensively for most of the game. But the Tigers’ defense remained stout, and they made just enough plays with the ball to deny Iowa State (5-7, 3-5) the victory it needed for bowl-eligibility.

Gabbert threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Michael Egnew in the first quarter, and De’Vion Moore scored from the one in the second half after punter Matt Grabner kept the drive alive with a 15-yard run on fourth-and-two at his own 28.

With the regular-season finale against Kansas and a bowl game still to go, the Tigers could reach 10 wins for the fourth time.

No. 16 Oklahoma 53, Baylor 24

Waco, Texas — DeMarco Murray turned a short pass into a long touchdown and ran for another score in the opening minutes to get Oklahoma off to a fast start in a victory that kept the Sooners’ Big 12 title hopes alive.

Landry Jones threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns with a five-yard score to Ryan Broyles, who became the first Oklahoma receiver with a 100-catch season.

Oklahoma (9-2, 5-2 Big 12) has won all 20 games against the Bears (7-5, 4-4), who wrapped up their first winning regular season since 1995 despite losing all three of their November games — all to ranked teams.

The Sooners play their regular-season finale next Saturday at 12th-ranked Oklahoma State.

The Bedlam rivalry could determine who will represent the South Division in the league’s last scheduled championship game, or could set up a three-way tie.

Colorado 44, Kansas State 36

Boulder, Colo. — Rodney Stewart ran for a touchdown and gained a career-high 195 yards on 34 carries, caught two passes for 49 yards and completed a 23-yard halfback pass for a TD.

Cody Hawkins threw for three TDs and 202 yards, and the Buffaloes (5-6, 2-5 Big 12) won their second straight under interim coach Brian Cabral, who took over two weeks ago when Dan Hawkins was fired.

Texas 51, Florida Atlantic 17

Austin, Texas — Garrett Gilbert threw two long touchdown passes, and Emmanuel Acho had a 57-yard interception return for a score as Texas snapped a four-game losing skid.

Gilbert threw to James Kirkendoll for a 63-yard TD early in the second quarter and connected with Malcolm Williams for a 47-yarder on the final play of the first half. Williams outjumped four Owls defenders to catch the ball in the end zone.

Texas Tech 64, Weber State 21

Lubbock, Texas — Taylor Potts threw for three touchdowns and ran for another — all in the first half — to lead Texas Tech.

The win made the Red Raiders (6-5, 3-5 Big 12) bowl-eligible for an 18th straight year; they’ve gotten berths the past 10 years.
