I drove by just before 8pm tonight...saw 11 LPD cars and one DoCo sheriff's car - all but 3 LPD cars on the east side where LJW reports. Saw the house and the cops--dark, flashlights, very suspicious looking, but, of course, that likely wouldn't have been the case had there not been a dozen squad cars and countless cops milling about with flashlights.

That's odd. I live in the two hundred block and missed it all. Course I've been using tweezers to remove shell from the side of my house ever since.

I'd say we should have drop off boxes set up all over town for pre holiday drop offs. Get these guns out of the hands of home owners and into those of criminals. Oh wait, they're one and the same.

The article headline last night read that shots were fired at (or near) LCC. I figured it was just the Real Estate, Banking, and Building execs fighting over who gets the lions share of the next round of government bailout$.

Do you ever actually read any news? Neither the Real Estate nor the Building industry got a penny in any bailout. The East Coast Bankers, Auto Makers, and Wall Street gamblers did. Get a clue. If you hate builders so much go live in a tent. That roof you have over your head was built by someone at some point. Why don't you go on a rant about the plumbers, framers, electricians, lumber yards, etc. Yeah, they all got bailouts too...right? The web has so many flies stuck in it. Good thing for spiders.
