Kansas swimming tops Drury, North Dakota

Iuliia Kuzhil set a pool record in the 200-yard backstroke, and the Kansas University swimming and diving team defeated Drury (189-108) and North Dakota (195-119) on Saturday at Robinson Natatorium.

Kuzhil, a KU senior, won the backstroke in 1:58.44, topping her own record of 1:59.42 set last season. Kansas improved to 2-4 in dual competition.

Kansas will compete in the Georgia Invitational from Dec. 3-5 in Athens, Ga.
