A pair of area football teams fell in the high school playoffs on Friday night.

In Class 5A, Mill Valley dropped a 56-20 decision to Shawnee Heights.

The Jaguars ended their season at 6-4. Shawnee Heights improved to 4-6.

In Class 2A, Oskaloosa fell, 40-6, against Pittsburg Colgan.

The Bears ended their season 7-3, while Colgan improved to 10-0.
