Oklahoma baseball defeats Kansas in Big 12 Tournament

? Cody Reine hit a two-run double in the ninth inning as Oklahoma rallied to beat Kansas 3-2 in the Big 12 tournament Wednesday night.

Reine’s hit allowed Garrett Buechele and Tyler Ogle to score.

Oklahoma’s starting pitcher, Michael Rocha, allowed two runs (one earned) and five hits in eight-plus innings. Kansas right-hander T.J. Walz allowed just three hits as he took the loss.

Tony Thompson scored the Jayhawks’ first run and drove in the second. He walked and scored on an infield hit and error in the second inning. In the sixth, he hit a sacrifice fly that allowed Brandon Macias to score.

Oklahoma tied the game in the fifth inning when Reine scored.

The game started more than three hours late because of a rain delay in an earlier game.
