Salina — Two Kansas teens are accused of punching a boy out walking his puppy and then stealing the dog.
Salina police say the boy, 9, and a friend were walking their dogs Tuesday evening in an alley when they were approached by a red SUV. Two girls, ages 15 and 18, got out and demanded the boy’s 9-month-old German shepherd.
Police say the boy refused and was punched in the eye by the 18-year-old, who loaded the puppy into the SUV and drove off.
Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield says officers were able to identify the 18-year-old, who brought the puppy to the police station later Tuesday night. Authorities say charges are pending.

Punching a kid and stealing his puppy? The incredibly low-life things people do keep right on amazing me.
I'm glad the kid got his dog back. As part of their punishment they should clean cages in the animal shelter. What else I think should happen, well, I could write it but it can't be legally done anyway, so why bother?

Very interesting that, instead of reacting to this as an individual crime committed by one twisted individual, you would generalize to the entire female population. Unlike this little boy, you've probably earned any mistreatment you've received from women.

Not true. But your ignorant depiction of who feminists are and what they are telling their little girls adds more evidence that you have very warped views of women. Feminists want equal pay for equal work, equal opportunity to obtain jobs for which they are equally qualified, and things of this nature. I do not know any feminists who hate men, who counsel their children to hate men, or who fit any of your ignorant stereotypes.
Women who do hate men and who stereotype them the same way you stereotype women have as many problems as you do. Why don't you find yourself one of those sweethearts? yes it must've been the SUV's fault: hitting a jaywalker, running into the sides of bars and mex junk food joints...SUV's on a rampage.
I'm just glad the boy has his dog back. and I hope that both creepy teens get some time in jail to think about this.

This story reminds me of the time two teenage boys were caught in Salina making out in a car. The boys' names were released in the paper very soon after the incident. Here, two girls engage in violence and steal a little boy's dog. Their names aren't released.
