Stephen Spacek

Age: 27

Sign: Taurus

Hometown: Lansing.

Time in Lawrence: Six years.

Occupation: Auto mechanic.

What were you doing when scouted? Riding my fixed gear down Mass Street like a good townie.

How would you describe your style? Dirtbag, simple.

What are your current favorite fashion trends? Year-round, I wear lots of black band T-shirts and boot-cut jeans since I can’t fit my legs into “skinny jeans”; I wear Carhartt apparel in cold weather and overalls when I’m fishing.

What are your least favorite fashion trends? Crocs, girls that wear their pajamas everywhere, and tall-tees.

What would you like to see more of/less of in Lawrence? Less hippies, more bike lanes.

Who are your fashion influences? Indie kids, metal kids and my dad.

People say I look like: This dude Russ Miller from Leavenworth, but I have met him, and we don’t look alike at all.

Tell us a secret: I have Tourette’s syndrome.
