Breakfast celebrates older Americans

Trinity In-Home Care is celebrating Older Americans Month with a community breakfast Friday.

“We want to bring to light the contributions, impact and inspiration that older Americans make to society,” said Scott Criqui, Trinity’s human resource manager.

Lawrence resident Margo Gordon will be honored for her volunteer work in the community.

The breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H. It is free and open to anyone.

To reserve a seat, contact Kelly Evans, executive director, at 842-3159 or by e-mail at kelly@tihc.org.

The nonprofit agency, which has about 350 clients in Douglas County, provides support to people of all ages that keeps them in their homes for as long as possible.
