Chicago Board of Trade

Agriculture futures advanced Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery jumped 7.75 cents to $4.87, while May corn added 3.5 cents to $3.6675 and oats for May delivery rose 2 cents to $2.18. May soybeans surged 15 cents to $9.45. April live cattle lost 0.18 cent to 95.47 cents; April feeder cattle shed 0.17 cent to $1.0585; April lean hogs slipped 0.05 cent to 71.75 cents; and May pork bellies were flat at 91.05 cents.
