From the Lawrence Daily World for March 7, 1910: “The Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at KU is making plans for a new chapter house to be built on old Fort Thacher at the corner of Louisiana and Ontario streets. This is a historic spot in Lawrence and a most appropriate location for the house. … Local doctors and ministers plan a joint meeting to get better-acquainted and discuss how they can better serve their patients and church members with good interaction.”
