Baker University has been named among The Princeton Review’s top 50 best undergraduate institutions to study game design.

The test preparation and education service established its first such list this year in collaboration with GamePro magazine.

Eight programs were ranked among as the best of the best, with the other 42 schools named in an unranked list — Baker was in the latter category.

Schools were chosen based on a survey of administrators at institutions offering game design course work or degrees. Criteria included quality of the curriculum, faculty, facilities and infrastructure.

Scholarships, financial aid and career opportunities also played a role in the rankings.
