A 37-year-old Lawrence woman was treated at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka and later released after she was injured Monday morning in an accident on the Kansas Turnpike.

Heidlinda Kriner was slowing down for backed-up traffic when her car was rear-ended by a pickup truck just east of Topeka, according to police reports.
