Free State High senior Michael Lisher has received a $1,000 scholarship given annually to the top 22 prep football players in the Kansas City Metro area.

Lisher, a three-year starter and two-time all-state selection, signed a national letter of intent with Nebraska-Omaha in February. He and the 21 other recipients will be honored at a dinner Sunday.
