Emporia ? Lawrence’s Raiders lost a doubleheader with Emporia on Sunday.

Emporia won the first game, 9-1. Austin Hrabe and Justin Walthall had two hits apiece.

In the second game, Emporia rallied to win 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning. Austin Holladay and Josh Holland each had triples for the Raiders.

“We were just giving up too many unearned runs,” Raiders coach Bryan Wyatt said. “You can’t give a good team four and five outs and expect to win.”
