Wichita ? Lawrence’s Phenix-Fyler softball team defeated Kansas Threat, 6-1, and Augusta Chill, 5-4, on Saturday at the ASA State tournament.

Dana Kramer, Sarah Hanson, and Jamie Morgison had two hits apiece, and Danielle Booher a double against the Threat. Taylor Simmons (2-0) pitched a complete game.

Simmons went 4-for-4, while Jamie Jarrett and Booher had two hits each in the second game. Kramer had two runs scored. Shelley Prost (5-1) pitched a complete game.

Jarrett went 5-for-7 in two wins on Saturday with two home runs and seven RBIs. Kramer was 4-for-7.
