Joe Ahmadian, a former Baker University tennis player, was named the men’s and women’s tennis coach at Baker on Thursday.

Ahmadian, a Dallas native, was named the 2007 Baker Athlete of the Year during his senior season.

He was an assistant coach at Baker in 2008 and an assistant at Free State High in 2009.
